I would
like to introduce my personal friends Drs. Scott & Carolyn Buss. They have
been closely associated with Shalom since 2001 as a Chartered School of
Christian Education. Scott & Carolyn are Graduates of Shalom Bible College
and Seminary and founders of The “International Institute of Music, Worship and
the Arts.” They have been in Ministry for over 30 years. Together they have
Ministered the Word of God, along being a Violin & Piano team. They have
Ministered before dignitaries and as Missionaries throughout the world. The
Institute is an extension of their Ministry “For the purpose of equipping and
strengthening the Body of Christ.” We at Commerce Community Church are blessed
to have them in Ministry today.
It is true that battles against demonic forces
can be won by the Worship and Praise of God’s People. King David understood
this as Scripture declares in: 1
Chron. 15:16 “David spake to the Chief of the Levites to appoint their brethren to
be the Singers with Instruments of Musick, Psalteries and Harps and Cymbals,
sounding, by lifting up the voice with Joy.” What we learn from this
Passage of Scripture is: God loves music and as the Praises are head there is a
voice of Joy that springs forth! And God
inhabits the Praises of His People therefore the enemy cannot overtake us! Loving you, Pastor
