In This Will I be confident!

“Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, ... In this will I be confident.”    Ps. 27:3

Lets talk about our Confidence in this hour in which we live. We have had to summon up our courage, our Faith, and our Confidence! David the Psalmist begins with “The Lord is my Light and my Salvation!” Salvation imparts Light to David, even tho’ he has never met the Christ who is the Light of the world! To be truly confident, we must dwell in His Light, it is our Salvation that dispels the darkness! This is why we are in a moment of time that we need to energize our Salvation. What a strange statement one might think. How do we energize our Salvation?  Of course we can go to the Word of God, there is strength and Confidence in His Word. We can evaluate the depth of our Worship, the time we spend in Prayer and Meditating/communing with Him ... Could it be we might need to strengthen the “Fruit of His Spirit” that resides in us? When you sincerely love someone, you think often of them, you keep in contact with them, and your concerned if they are in some kind of problem. Perhaps lethargy has attacked the Church World. The Church World seems to be experiencing a lack of energy or enthusiasm for the things of God? That could be true in our everydayness – but has it attacked our Spiritual being? Is there an Unresponsiveness to Spiritual things in this season of change and anxiety? What is God’s call to the Church and His people? Is there a lack of Spiritual activity? These questions arise as I view the changes in the Church World. Vs3 of Ps.27 stands out for David sees that God is His Light in the trials of His Life and declares “the Lord is my strength!”  It is interesting to note that Ps. 27 is a Psalm of distress, but it us filled with Confidence. Vs1 The Lord is David’s Light, Salvation, Strength, our Life, no fear and “In this will I be Confident!” Remember Phil. 1:6"Being Confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:” Loving You, Pastor

The Benediction:

All Powerful Father who reigns over this People, we come in thanksgiving to Worship and Praise You for all Your Goodness unto us! We thank You for the Confidence You have given us in Eternal Life by sending Jesus to cover us with His Precious Blood.  He has sent the Power of the Holy Ghost to guide us along this journey on earth! As Thankfulness arises in our heart may our Confidence in You be strengthen and absolute! Darkness can not prevail for You have sent Your Light into our world! Our confidence is in You! And in You there is no fear!  O Lord draw our loved ones unto Salvation I Pray ... Strength Thy people for the tasks at hand for in you is our Confidence!  We ask these things in Your Name, in Jesus Name, and the Power of the Holy Ghost, Amen

Thy Faithfulness!

“God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about Him. O Lord God of hosts, who is a strong Lord like unto Thee? or to Thy Faithfulness round about Thee?  Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.” ~ Psalm 89:7-9

It is so good to know that our God can rule the raging spirit of mankind, He can still the wildest inner storm! These are not just the storms of the elements, but the invasion of satanic powers that seek to “rob, kill, and destroy” the goodness in the heart of mankind! What a Faithful God we serve, a God that can rule the elements, and tame the spirit of humanity! Of course you know I love the Psalms, so here we are again in the midst of David’s Songs of deliverance. “I will sing of the Mercies of the Lord forever, with my mouth will I make known Thy Faithfulness to all generations!”  O how our generation needs to be reminded of the glorious Mercy of our God! His Loving-kindness overwhelms us even in the darkest of days, for in Him is the light upon our path. He quickens us when we call upon Him and He never leaves our side, great is His Faithfulness! In Psalm 141 David writes under the inspirations of God’s Spirit: “Let my Prayer be set forth before Thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice;” and as he comes to a close of the Psalm – “Mine eyes are unto Thee, O God the Lord: in thee is my Trust ...” Herein is our strength for the day, keeping our eyes heavenward! Let us meditate upon the Goodness and the Faithfulness of our Saviour and our God! Ps. 89 reminds us we have a Covenant, it is the Covenant of the Chosen! How powerful is that? The heavens shall Praise Thy wonders, O Lord: Thy Faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints! And then we turn to the Lamenting of Jeremiah: “The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I Hope in Him. The Lord is good unto them that wait for Him, to the soul that seeketh Him. It is good that a man should both Hope and quietly wait for the Salvation of the Lord!”    ~ Praying for you and Loving you, Pastor

The Benediction

Heavenly Father, we come in Thanksgiving for all Your wonderful works unto Your People! Truly You are a Faithful God and have shown forth Your Greatness to us! In Thy Faithfulness we have pushed through the trials of our day and we lift up our voice of Praise and Worship! We are grateful for Your Mercy, Your Grace, and Your Love. Continue O Lord to impart Your strength and guidance as we ‘feel’ after the Power of Your Presence. In Your Faithfulness Mighty God, pursue our families with Your Love, that they might come to know Thy Salvation. With a heart of Thanksgiving O Lord, guide us through these days for it is Thy Faithfulness that shines upon our way; O the Joy of Your Presence as we know You are a Faithful God and watch over us. In the Name of the Father, His Son, and the Holy Ghost, Amen!

Do I feel Jesus?

Jesus giveth to all, life and breath, and all things; That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after Him, and find Him, though He be not far from every one of us!” ~ Acts 17

“Feelings” seem to be running rapid these days as wickedness seeks to prevail! Often we don’t really like to discuss our ‘feelings.’ But today the Message surrounds the Breath of God that was breathed into us at birth and God’s desire is –  that we might ‘Feel’ Him. It is one thing to say we Love Jesus, another thing to Serve Him, and yet another thing to Follow Him – so close that we ‘Feel’ Him!  I’m reminded of the Apostle Peter when Jesus questioned him. Jesus spoke to him on three occasions asking, “Simon, son of Jonas, Lovest thou me?” First Peter answered Him, “Yea, Lord; Thou knowest that I love Thee.” But as Jesus continued on to the Third time, with: “Simon, son of Jonas, Lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto Him the third time, Lovest thou me? Peter responded “Lord, Thou knowest all things; Thou knowest that I Love Thee!”  There are many sermons that no doubt have been preached on this subject, but the simplest thought is – Jesus was saying if you love me, there is work to be done for My Kingdom! And so it is this very day, so much work to be done for the Kingdom of God as it draws near. Christianity must rise to the occasion. Our witness for Jesus must be strong, and full of the Power of our Salvation! It is not enough to be a good person. The heart of God is calling for His people to draw near. In Heb. 7:19 His Word tells us: The Law mad nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a Better Hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God! We have a powerful Word from the Lord in James 4 – If we will submit ourselves to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us! God’s Word proclaims: “draw nigh to God, He will draw nigh to us! So the question before us today is: “Do I feel Jesus?” We know we are Saved, We love Him, but He seeks for us to “Haply, feel His Presence beside us! Sincere meditation will bring Him close as we reach for His Love. ~ Pastor

Gracious Father, our God and Saviour; we have heard Your Word today and have well noted Your desire for us to come so close to You,  that we might physically feel You beside us! Surround Your people today with the Power of Your Presence.  Enlarge our Hope, strengthen our Trust, cause us to sense the Power of Your Love in our lives! Pour forth Your Precious Holy Spirit to guide us and nudge us to walk in Your paths of rightness! I Pray for Blessings upon this people and healing in this house for You are a faithful Saviour! O Lord Impart Your Wisdom to us, and help us ‘feel’ Your nearness! We ask for Your Presence to surround our families! We ask these things in Your Name, the Name of Jesus!

How Excellent Is Thy Name

O Lord our Lord, how Excellent is Thy Name in all the earth! who hast set Thy glory above the heavens. When I consider Thy heavens, the work of Thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which Thou hast Ordained; What is man, that Thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that Thou visits him? O Lord our Lord, how Excellent is Thy Name in all the earth!~ Psalm 8:1, 3-4, 9

As we meditate upon the “Goodness of God” and think of the glorious inheritance that He has prepared for us, we can’t help but voice the Words of the Psalmist: “How Excellent is Thy Name O Lord our God!” Today we consider the Power of the Name of Jesus!  It is an Excellent Power of Love and Mercy which He has bestowed upon His people. His Name is full of Glory, so such that our vocabulary cannot express in words, His powerful Greatness! King David, a man after God’s own heart, has proclaimed it and declared that our enemies can be ‘stilled’ by God’s Excellent Name!  He has poured forth His greatest Glory in His Son and at “The Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;” ~  Phil. 2:10. The next time satan invades your mind to worry, just say to him – “bow to Jesus!” – things under the earth can be stilled by the Excellency of Jesus Holy Name! O Church Scripture tells us “Our help is in the Name of the Lord, He who made the heavens and the earth!” We are called upon to “Praise Him for His Mighty Acts and according to His Excellent Greatness!” There was once a day when even those who did not believe in Him, reverence Him, but alas that day is gone as wickedness prevails. The very thought of taking His Excellent Name off of our “Pledge of Allegiance” would be a gross immoral mistake, for we are His Country!  Jesus received the same Excellency regarding His Name!  2 Pet. 1:17-18 – “For Jesus received from God the Father Honour and Glory, when there came such a Voice to Him from the Excellent Glory, This is My Beloved Son, in whom I Am well pleased. And this Voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with Him in the Holy Mount.” – and then a ‘warning’ is heard – VS19 “We have also a more Sure Word of Prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a Light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the Day Star arises in your hearts:” I hear the strains of “His Name is Wonderful, just now in my Spirit! O Lord we rise to Worship You!  Love, Pastor

The Benediction:

How Excellent is Thy Name, heavenly Father, truly in all the earth as Your Word proclaims! You are Excellent in Power, in Mercy, and in Grace, we Honour and Worship You! O God, place it in our heart to remember Your greatness and the Power of Your Salvation! Saturate us with the Anointing of Your Precious Holy Ghost until we are overwhelmed with Your Presence! May healing be our portion today, for you have given us a great Physician in Whose Stripes bring forth Healing. Surround our families with Your Precious Blood and keep them safe and bring Salvation to all I Pray! Thank you Jesus, for You give us Hope and forgiveness! In this we are greatly Blessed! We ask these things in the Holy Name of our Father, and In the Name of Jesus and the Power of the Holy Ghost! Amen!

How It All Began

John 1:1-2 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John The same was in the beginning with God.

The forever question that is asked: How do we know there is a God? The answer to that question is found in John 1:4 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was In The Beginning with God.  All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. In Him was life; and the life was the Light of men.” I know this is well-known information, but I sense the nudging of the Lord that He might remind us regarding our Inheritance.  Last week we looked at our Spiritual Inheritance in Jesus Sacrificial Offering of Himself. Today we see how powerful our Saviour is, that in Him everything that we know about Heaven and Earth is in Him. God is our Power source, the Creator, but all creation was for God’s Beloved Son. Life without Christ is darkness. Christ lights up our life and ‘real’ life – Eternal Life is in Him!  He is the Living Word in us!  Consider what God has done for us.  2 Corinthians 5:21 “For He hath made Jesus to be sin for us, Jesus knew no sin; The Purpose: that we might be made the righteousness of God in Jesus!  Herein is the Powerful Scripture in John 1:14; The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His Glory, the Glory as of the Only Begotten of the Father, full of Grace and Truth.  Everything about God is “Living!”  He gives us Living Bread, Spirit of the Living God, we are the temple of the Living God, New & Living Way, Lively stones, Living foundations of water ... on and on go the “Living thing” that God has proved for us! Most important the Word of God is Life!  Jesus offered His Flesh, without sin for us, what can we offer of our flesh .. But to ‘Live’ an overcoming life, witnessing of the Goodness of God and the Life we have in Him. The Word is more powerful then a mere word, it is life! It is substance, It is Eternal Life! We have tasted that the Lord is gracious, loving, forgiving, and everything in Heaven and Earth was made for Him!

“The Invasion” It’s a Spiritual Wrestle

“... Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.”

~ 2 Chron. 20:3

Warfare deals with the “activities involved in war or conflict!” There is a Spiritual Warfare being waged in our world today. Spiritual Battles rages in Christianity,  as wickedness is on the rise. Again I feel that God‘s people, we must rise to the occasion and war against the forces of evil knowing we have an Almighty God who sees our battles and He will bring forth the Victory. In Last week’s Message we were reminded of who our Captain is as we are in these battles. Does our heart burn within us as we recognize this Powerful statement?  For it became God, to make the Captain of our Salvation perfect through Jesus Sufferings,Not only do we have a Captain, we have a Great High Priest, a Good Shepherd, a Chief Shepherd and a Bishop of our soul! Jesus is all in all! No matter the Invasion of the enemy, Jesus is beside us and He dwells in us! While our world is experiencing an Invasion from Hell, God is Greater and as we read in Scripture we know the “Battle belongs to Him!”  Our dependence is upon the Almighty God who send His Only Begotten Son to Redeem humanity and now we wait in great expectation for His Return. Today’s Message come from 2 Chronicles Chapter 20. A Great Invasion was about to take place against God’s people.  The Moabites, Ammonites and a great multitude of people had gathered beyond the sea on this side of Syria against Judah. Jehoshaphat sets himself to seek the Lord and calls for a fast! There are some important things that transpire in this Chapter that could be a great help to us as we face the challenges of our Day. As Judah gathers together, Scripture tells us that out of all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord!  Think what would happen if all True Christianity came together to seek the Lord! But alas we are divided by all sorts of things and especially in this season of a plaque as the Body of Christ at large seems to have separated.  So we see Judah came together to seek the Lord! Consider Jehoshaphat’s Prayer: 2 Chronicles 20:6 “O Lord God of our fathers, art not thou God in heaven? and rulest not thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee?” His Prayer ends with “...neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon Thee! O may we be found with our eyes upon Him in this hour!  Loving you, Pastor

I Will Sing

I will Sing unto the Lord as long as I live:

I will Sing Praise to my God while I have my being!”

From the Pastor’s Study: This Message follows quickly on the heels of “I Will Triumph!” There are various ways to Triumph over the works of darkness, the enemy of our soul, and the desperation one might sense in this season of change. First and foremost our Trust must be in our Lord and Saviour. Then as we search Scriptures, we find ways to energize our self in standing against the enemy. One powerful way is to come before God’s Presence with gladness, with thanks-giving in our heart and Singing! The Church may have come to a season that the Israelites once faced when they hung their harps upon the trees and could not sing the Songs of Zion because of sorrow of heart! Perhaps in our case it is because the devil has robbed us of our Song! Singing unto the Lord is a powerful way to Bless the heart of God especially when you Sing the Psalms. 1 Chron. 16:9 “Sing unto Him, Sing Psalms unto Him, talk ye of all His wondrous works.” Ps. 105:2 declares this thought again: “Sing unto Him, Sing Psalms unto Him: talk ye of all His wondrous works.” Then we hear from the New Testament: James 5:13 “... Is any merry? let him Sing Psalms! Both of the Old Testament Scriptures here announces we must “Glory in His Holy Name, ... and Seek the Lord and His Strength, seek His face continually!”  Isaiah comes into the mix: 12:2 “Behold, God is my Salvation; I will Trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my Strength and my Song!” As we come into Worship today, “Let us come before His Presence with Thanksgiving, and make a Joyful Noise unto Him with Psalms.” David of old encouraged himself in Song and Music.  It is interesting to see that David had severe trials and so many temptations to fear, to be discouraged, to want to give up. But His Song was — Ps 40:2-3 “He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a Rock, and established my goings. And He hath put a New Song in my mouth, even Praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall Trust in the Lord.” O Church let us what the New Song will bring forth in our life of fresh Worship unto our “Soon Coming King”   Singing & You!  Pastor ♪

“The Lord will command His Loving Kindness in the

daytime, and in the night His Song shall be with me,

and my Prayer unto the God of my life.” ~ Ps. 42:8

The Benediction

Glorious Father, how Blessed we are to be Comforted by the Power of Your Precious Holy Ghost! We rejoice in Songs of the Psalms that you have provided for us! May our Song be released into the depth of our soul until our whole being Worships You! Strengthen Your Song in our heart and in our spirit as we overcome the temptations of our day and refuse to fear, but Trust in You with all our heart. We know You will never leave us; how thankful we are for Jesus who has Redeemed us! As we go our way today may a Song of Your Greatness arise from our heart and linger day and night. O Lord draw our families unto you that they might know the Joy of Salvation. May our Light of You shine bright in our life! We ask all these things in Your Holy Name, the Name of our Father, and in the Name of Jesus and His Precious Holy Spirit!   Amen

I Will Triumph!

“For Thou, Lord, hast made me glad through Thy work:
Will Triumph in the works of Thy hands.

O Lord, how great are Thy works!

And Thy thoughts are very deep.” ~ Psalm 92:4-5

What is the Church as we know it in Scripture?  It is illustrated in God’s Word as “The Body of Christ,” the “Temple of God,” and the “Bride of Christ!” The word Church in the Greek is “Ecclesia” and means: Called out ones. The Church has taken on many forms and purposes, but in all reality it is “the people of the Lord called out from the world!” People – “Born Again,” believers and confessors of Jesus Christ! The Church is not just people who say they are “Born Again,” but people who follow a  life-style of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is not about the size of the Church nor the denomination; it is about “identifying with the Lord Jesus and following in His footsteps — fellowshipping the brethren along the way and living an overcoming life!” Scripture reveals this Truth – “The gates of hell” shall not prevail against His Church!” The leadership of hell may torment, deceive, and harass the Church [people of God], but he will not prevail! Christ is more powerful and more victorious and through Him we will Triumph! Job, most ancient writer in Scripture – when he was reproached, the Spirit gave him understanding – “That the triumphing of the wicked is short!” What is needed by God’s people in this moment and time is: “O Clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with a ‘Voice of Triumph!’ For the Lord Most High is terrible [Reverently feared]!” Perhaps this is a problem in our world today, the “lack of Reverent  Fear? Through our Saviour we will Triumph! He is the source of our strength, “a present help in the time of trouble!” To Triumph in the Works of His hands is a most powerful statement. Consider the Works of our Creator, and ponder the glorious Gift of Jesus as He has Redeemed us, He is in the Believer who is serious about Him, He surrounds us day and night and He will never leave us. Let us say “I Will Triumph” in Lord, My God, My Saviour, and His Holy Ghost!   Let us give forth a Triumphant shout of Praise ...Pastor

Heavenly Father, how we Reverent Your many Gifts You have given to us, we enter into your gates with great thanksgiving! We are especially thankful that in You we can Triumph over the adversities of our day, for You have said we can Overcome! Thank You Jesus that you suffered and shed Your Blood for us and we will Triumph in the Work of Calvary, and in the hands of Father God! Come Lord Jesus and surround us with Hope, Mercy, and forgiveness as we Press onward to the goal that is set before us! O Holy Ghost nudge our Loved Ones to be Born again in You! As we go our way today, may Your people sense this moment in time where You are our comfort, our present Help, and a God who never leaves us. We ask these things in the Name of the Father, His Son, and the Power of the Holy Ghost, Amen

Press Toward!

“I Press Toward the mark for the Prize of the High Calling of God in Christ Jesus.”Phil. 3:13-14

What a day that will be when my Jesus I will see ... the words of this grand old Hymn flood my soul today as I prepare this bulletin. What a difficult year we have faced!  The Body of Christ has been separated and perhaps some may never join the Body in His House.  It seems these difficult days are very slow to get back to normal. So many changes... I’m thankful that Jesus never changes. He is ever the same, from yesterday, today, and forever! So it is time to arise from the difficulties and “Press Toward” a Spiritual Renewal!” After a year of following all the rules of our country, and hearing the fear broadcasted daily, things are slowly changing, and I mean slowly... This Message, Press Toward,” burns in my heart because, Pentecost is near! O what a day that must of been, the Power of the Holy Ghost swept through the “desiring disciples” as they were waiting for the fulfillment of Jesus Words to them! I wonder who is waiting, patiently, but full of expectation for Jesus’ to flow a fresh though their heart and soul!  We will need His Love and Strength to arise and “Press Toward the Prize!”  As we studied in the things of God’s Spirit these past four weeks, we know that His Gifts are for everyone and it was evidenced on the day of Pentecost for ... Acts 2:4 says “They were ALL filled with the Holy Ghost! There was much “Pressing” before the High Calling came to the Disciples, had they not preserved they would never have received the Powerful Anointing that came that day to humanity! We are in a “Pressing” mode – pressing to overcome the fear of our day; pressing to stand against the works of darkness; pressing to be obedient to the His Voice, and pressing to – well just overcome all the things that have transpired this past year. The Great News is this: “No weapon formed against us will prosper!” – we may be partakers of hardship, but “Our Hope is steadfast” – Jesus has never left us!   Forgetting those things which are behind – I Press Toward ....  Pressing Toward ... and Loving you, Pastor

Glorious Father who reins in Power and Might, we give you the Highest Praise! Tabernacle Your People today with the Power of Your Precious Holy Spirit; prepare our hearts for the remembrance of Pentecost! O Lord, answer their Prayers today, surround them with the Power of Your Presence, let Healing be their portion. For You are the One Who has given us Jesus, He has Redeemed Us and spoke Peace to our hearts! O God help us to penetrate the darkness and prepare to “Press Toward” the Power of Your Word! We ask these things in the Name of the Father, The Son, & Holy Ghost!  Amen!

The Gifts of God! Pt 4 — “Spiritual Gifts!” Mother's Day

"She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is law of kindness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised." Probers 31

First of all I want to greet the Mothers and wish them the Highest Blessings of the Lord!  I think of my Mother today and sense the Loss, but know her Prayers are still active for me!  Thank God for our Mothers! They are sincerely Gifts to us!  Speaking of Gifts today is the final Message of the Gifts of God. We look at the Gifts of the Spirit. In this series I had this epiphany as I read 1 Cor. 12:4-7 Here I found the Trinity of God – “Now there are Diversities of Gifts, but the same Spirit. This is the Holy Spirit!  And there are Differences of Administrations, but the same Lord. Lord is Jesus And there are Diversities of Operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. This is Father God VS7 the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.”  There is so much to be said about the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. With so many Churches that we have in this day, there are different teachings no doubt. I believe that the Lord nudged me for this Message with purpose – that the saints might be reminded of the Power of the Holy Ghost and the Diversities of God’s Spirit that has come into the earth through the death of Jesus. In today’s Message we will focus of the Spiritual Gifts and the moment they came into effect for the Church. The Gifts of God are for everyone, they vary, but all are given by the Same Spirit of God. If one does what seems menial in the work of the Kingdom, it is as important at any Gift in the Body of Christ for the Word says There are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. 1 Cor 12:5; As we read the Scriptures, it continues to say it is the ‘same’ Spirit all in all. The heart of this Message is “that no one come behind in the Gifts of God!”  As the Testimony of Christ is confirmed in you, you are a witness of God’s great Gift of Salvation! We are admonished to be zealous of Spiritual Gifts and seek they we may excel and edify the Church, that is encourage one another!  Loving You, Pastor

Heavenly Father we come with hearts full of thanksgiving for our Mothers; we ask for abundant Blessings to be poured out upon them. They are a Special Gift to us!    We are grateful for all the Gifts you have prepared for Your People. We desire to walk in Your Presence and be a willing vessel for You to use. Bless your People today as they have come into Your House and assembled together. You know the needs in our hearts this day, and we know You are sufficient for day! May Your people feel refreshed in You, as they go their way today, experiencing the Gifts You have given to us. May we Operate in Your Plan, Administrate in Your Will and always be found in walking in the presence of Your Powerful Holy Spirit.  We ask these things in the Name of the Father, His Son and the Precious Holy Ghost.  Amen

Diversities of Gifts

“Now there are Diversities of Gifts, but the same Spirit. But the manifestation of the Spirit is Given to every man to profit withal.”

Perhaps you may have been nudged in the past by a well-meaning friend to be used of the Lord in His Gifts. There are many Gifts that God has given to the Body of Christ. Perhaps you will find a specific Gift that touches your heart in these Messages and you will welcome the opportunity to use that Gift for the Glory of the Lord. As we move into the 12th Chapter of 1 Cor. There God nudges the Apostle Paul to elaborate on the Gifts that He has given to the Church. All the Gifts come from God and are for His People, the Born Again Believers! Consider the Scriptures in your future devotions: 1Cor. 12; Rom. 12: Col. 1:10-12 – it is somewhat mind boggling as you read and reread these Passages of Scriptures for we hear there are Administrations, Operations, and Spiritual Gifts; all these of the same Spirit of God and in most cases are for the edifying of the Church. The Scripture calls them “Diversities of Gifts!” Diverse means Varity, a range of different things. We are living in a season of Diversities. Humanity seems to believe that they can do whatever they desire without any regard to the Commandments of God... It is a season of change, a huge opportunity to Fight the Good Fight of Faith! – Changes in Church schedules, Changes in the Revisions of God’s Word – even changes going on in the flesh: I’m not like God created me, I think I’ll change my gender. I’m resigned to say Christian Life has been so changed to be comfortable that there is little ‘fire & damnation” of the past. Jer. 50:20 declares “There is the sound of Battle in the land!” It is a war against the Holiness of God, the reverence of His Unchangeable Word: The forsaking of assembling together. The hour is upon us to increase in Spiritual Matters! Why? “That we might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the Knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to His Glorious Power, unto all patience and Longsuffering with Joyfulness;” As we increase, let us walk in the Diversities of God’s Great Gifts; the path of slumber and ‘at ease’ will not work ...We must be diligent to seek the Power of the many Gifts that God has given to us. O God, May we be alert in this hour-awaken to the Diversities of the Spirit of God! I hear this deep in my soul “Stir up the Gift of God!” it is mandatory for the days ahead! Let us Desire God’s Gifts! Loving you, Pastor

The Benediction Heavenly Father, You our God, and we come to you in Jesus Great Name, a Name above all names! We thank You for the many Gifts You have given to us! Spiritual Gifts, Operations and Administrations of Gifts! Come Lord Jesus and evade our hearts and our lives that we might be a greater warrior for You in this great hour of devastation. O Holy Spirit of God, touch Your Church one more time with the Power of Your Anointing that the Church of the Living God will arise with Healing for all mankind! We give You the Highest Praise for You are a Powerful leader in our life. Nudge us with a fresh touch of Your Glory and Power. Surround our families and loved ones with Your Grace and draw them unto Yourself in Salvation Power.  We ask these things in the Name of our Father, His Loving Son, and the Precious Holy Ghost!  Amen

Ye Shall Receive....

Jesus said: “Ye shall receive Power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

Can we even imagine the thoughts of the Disciples as Jesus appears before them? The two who had gone to Emmaus, seemingly in defeat ... Jesus caught up to them as they discussed the happenings of His death.  Then they sat together at a meal, and when Jesus broke bread, their eyes were opened. As Jesus vanished before their eyes ... they exclaimed: “... Did not our heart burn within us, while He talked with us by the way, and while He opened to us the Scriptures? What the Church of Jesus Christ needs today is a “fresh burning” a desire to plunge into the heart of God. Could we be like the Disciples, we know Spiritual things but are not experiencing the Power of the precious Holy Spirit. They saw the miracles, even to the raising of the dead, yet they did not really know the Power of the Christ that walked with them. They heard the Words of Jesus on the last day of the great feast, Passover was close!: “ ...Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink. He that believeth on Me, as the Scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of Living Water.” He was speaking of the Holy Ghost that He would send after His Death.” ~ John 7:37-39 On the Church Calendar it now becomes Green, which is the “Growing Season” – the Spiritual Season of the Disciples. They are dispersed in “His Power” and become a great witness for our Saviour! They have learned painful things as they moved from the “milk” to the “meat” of Jesus Teachings. Sincerely I believe we are advancing to the “meat” season as the beginning of end-time signs are appearing. Many today have seen the Glorious revivals of our day, and even read of times like the Azusa Street Revival among other Spiritual renewals or revivals. His Church needs an awakening, a refreshing, a renewing of the Power of the Holy Ghost! Jesus has given Holy Ghost Power to His followers and His Blood that we might overcome, and the Word of our Testimony might explode forth in our life!  Jesus very last Words on earth was “...Ye Shall Receive Power!”  ~ Loving you and desiring His Power, Pastor

The Benediction — O Lord, how great is Your Love, Your Mercy and Your bountiful Grace and Holy Ghost Comfort! We are exceedingly a Blessed people! We sense Your Resurrection Power, and we have read of Your works all through Your Word! O Lord give us a thirst for more of You, a hunger for the Power of Your Holy Spirit that you have Promised for us. Breathe on us as You have done so long ago on Your disciples. Thank You for the comfort of the Holy Ghost that surrounds us today in the midst of our troubled world. Draw our families unto Your Saving Grace I Pray.
