The Power of Resurrection

 “Thine, O Lord, is the Greatness, and the Power, and the Glory, and the Victory, and the Majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; Thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and Thou art exalted as head above all.  Both riches and honour come of Thee, and Thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is Power and Might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.”   ~ 1 Chron. 29:11-12

  

  

The Grave is empty!  – What a Joyous Morning! Jesus has fulfilled the Father’s Will, Redemption is available to all humanity! We sing “What a Day That Shall Be ...”  in our natural mind we can not comprehend the Power of this day!  The Apostle Paul declared That I may be “found in Him, not having mine own righteousness,  which is of the Law, but that which is through the Faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by Faith:  That I may know Him, and the Power of His Resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death;”  ~  Phil 3:9-10  For several weeks we have examined the Power of God in Scripture. I have never been so keenly aware of the Power of God until these studies. We know there is Power in God, but somehow the Revelation of His Power needs to burst open in the hearts of His People. His Power and strength are sincerely needed in our life today more then ever! Not just the talk about His Power but, the knowledge of the strength of God’s Power which He wrought in Christ who lives in us. Throughout the Old Testament we hear of God’s Power and as we come to the New Testament that Power is now revealed in Christ has He is Victorious over Death, Hell, and the Grave! This Power we need, a Power that will bring us into Eternal Life – yet sustain us while we “witness” of Jesus on this earth! O the Power of Resurrection, we know about it, we talk about it, but there is a depth to reach that will push our Faith beyond the flesh and keep us from the hour of temptation!  It will be a Glorious Resurrection to all who know Jesus as their Personal Saviour!

                                        

The Benediction — Precious Father, our God and our Saviour! Because you have risen from the grave, we have this Holy Ghost Power living in us! O Lord, touch us one more time with the Anointing of your Power and Presence! We need Your strength for this day. May Your Blessings flow throughout our Church, our life and our families! Strengthen our Faith, energize our Love for you and surround us with the Holy Ghost Power that brought you forth from the grave! Touch us with a depth of Your Word until It comes alive in our being and the realization that we are Over comers will fill once more fill our soul, and in this hour we will sense the Resurrection Power! You are our God and we worship You! We ask this in the Name of the Father, His Son, and the Precious Holy Ghost, Amen
