It
is my Prayer that you have looked into Revelation Chapter 1-3 as we have walked
with John the Beloved in his vision that God gave to him. We have looked at the “Things which we have
seen” – We have have looked at “The Things Which Are” and to day we explore
“The Things Which Shall Be Hereafter!”
To really have the knowledge of The Things that Shall Be Hereafter one
must read the entire book of Revelation. Most basic Christians refer to not
read the Book because it is scary or they can not understand the symbols that
the Book contains. To glean a keen understanding of The Book of Revelation one
must have a good study Bible, King James, and carefully begin your study by
including the foot notes of the study Bible as you read. Libraries are filled with explanations of
this Book and you will find great authors that you trust, yet they will
disagree with other great authors. The Book of Revelation holds the mystery of
the End-Times for the saints of God. It
will unfold periodically as God allows the vision to be known. As we read the Scriptures of the End-Time in
Scripture, we realize that we are in the End-Time. Joel 2:28-32 is excellent
reading for it is again mentioned in Acts 2:17-21. It is the record of the
outpouring of the Holy Ghost which has come to the New Testament Church. What
is interesting is to see what is attached to this “outpouring of the Holy
Spirit:”and it is mentioned in both of these Passages of Scripture Acts 2:17-21
“I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood,
and fire, and vapour of smoke: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall
call on the name of the Lord shall be Saved.” and Joel ends with: “Joel
2:32 “It shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the
Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be
deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall
call.” The Word of God is filled
with ‘warnings’ of “The Things that shall be hereafter!” We must respond to the
cry of the Spirit; “He that hath an ear let him hear ... sixteen times it is
heard in the New Testament and even in the Old Testament as God spoke through
Ezekiel [3:27] When I speak with thee, I will open thy mouth, and thou shalt
say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; He that heareth, let him hear; and
he that forbeareth, let him forbear: for they are a rebellious house. There
is a cry in God’s heart that we might hear “The Things that shall be
hereafter.” Loving you, Pastor
