We read in Acts 20:21 ... “Testifying
both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith
toward our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Repentance toward God brings us into that deep personal relationship with
Jesus; forgiveness of our sins and right relationship with God – which then
causes our faith ... and our hope, our trust, our encouragement to grow in the
Lord Jesus Christ, our Redeemer and Saviour who has bought us by His life
giving Blood on Calvary! We now are
changed by the Power of the Holy Spirit abiding within us – and this is the
Word of our Testimony! We are being
changed daily into the image of our Lord and Saviour, through the Word of our
Testimony – the living Word of God!
Walking the life of Faith might not always be easy, but it yields the
fruit of righteousness. Jude 1:3
encourages us to “earnestly contend for the faith.” How do we do this? By hiding the Word of God within our
hearts! By asking the Holy Spirit to
live within us – to lead and guide us!
By allowing the Holy Spirit to try our hearts! By seeking for Forgiveness from God, from
others – and perhaps, even Forgiving Ourselves as God has forgiven
us! This is the day to walk in our
Victory in Christ Jesus! The Lord hears
our cries, and saves and redeems us out of all our troubles! The weapons of our warfare are mighty – and
through our God, we have been given the fruits of the Spirit of God – even
Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness – and Faith! Today, we pray that God will fortify our
Strength; that we will be built up in the most Holy Faith – giving our Thanks
to Jesus, the Lover of our souls! Paul
encourages us that what we have learned and received and heard – that we DO ...
that we walk in the ways of the Lord.
Then, the God of Peace – SHALOM – will be with us! We are blessed! May we declare like Paul – that we have
fought a good fight; that we have kept the faith!
With our Love and Prayers for
God’s Blessings Upon You This Week! Pastor Jewelly Hyden
